Awesome. I like it a lot.

Any recommendations on where to get an ax leak repaired and a recharge for a 2018 f150? Shop did a diagnosis but can't recharge R134yf.

Fix the leak and top it up with R134a. Are you sure it has R1234yf? My ‘16 ford has the old stuff and so does my ‘22. As the case with my ‘14 Dodge, adding 134a will often fix the leak in a 1234yf system.

Recommendation for a shop, not dealer and closer to DT would be best but not totally necessary.

Buddy needs his ac compressor & evaporator replaced apparently. 2014 F150 5L

Not sure if this has been posted already - anyone else like Steeda's new F150 "Thunder"? For the $ it looks to be a good deal, and I love single cab trucks like this. My first truck was when Chev put out their ZR2 Sonomas, and it was my first brand new vehicle, a single cab black ZR2 with an extra couple inches of lift. It was such a badass little truck circa 1995/96 when I had it. When I saw Steeda's new Thunder F150, it gave me the same vibes. Very cool truck IMO, I'd take it over the new electric Lightning even. Coyote 5.0 with the 10 speed auto that Chevy and Ford collaborated on, stage 2 supercharger, 780 HP 685 lb/tf. Lots of other mods, suspension, exhaust, etc. $69k USD total including the new donor truck.

I saw a 7th gen Tremor in the wild this one time

it was parked next to a 7th gen FX2, both of which were Blue Flame

They remain the only ones of those models i've ever seen

If a guy was fun, you could make something pretty wicked with a chip and a rcsb 3.5L XL 2wd. Wouldn't even be that expensive.

We had a RCSB 4x4 2.7 XL Sport at work and it was pretty spicy to drive, I imagine a 3.5 would be wild.

That's actually the ultimate family hauler because you can fit like 275 babies in the box if you just pile em up

Actually disregard you would exceed your payload capacity

You know, if one didn't care about having a V8, an Ecoboost version of Steeda's Thunder would be pretty sweet too IMO. Even if you just went with some basic suspension mods/wheels/etc, and ran a tuned/upgraded Ecoboost powertrain, I'd be very happy with that myself. Same look as Steeda's Thunder without the cost of the V8/suspension/etc swap and upgrades. Still be a badass little truck, and I'd bet with some of the HP/tq numbers I've seen from Mustang ecoboost modders, it'd be pretty fast still.

Saw this snippet on a facebook group for EVs. It will be interesting to see what the consumption rate of a CyberTruck is and what the current consumption for a Rivian is on the same trip.

It will also be interesting to see what range loss looks like on that trip when it is -25.

So I know traveling from Edmonton to Calgary is not that interesting, I thought some may find my first longish trip in the F-150 Lightning to be interesting.
Overall, the truck out-performed my expectations. The ride was quiet and comfortable, and the efficiency was surprising.
I left Beaumont with 99% SOC. From Beaumont to Red Deer I drove mostly at 110km/hr for a baseline, which got me an efficiency of about 294wh/km. To keep up with traffic safely, Red Deer to Calgary was 120km/hr which resulted in 303wh/km. This is with a slight headwind.
We arrived in Calgary at 38%, so 61% of battery use. An 11 minute (restroom) charge at Electrify Canada gave us 17%. After our meeting we charged at EC again for a quick 27min dinner and got 35%.
Leaving Calgary at 83% the truck estimated an arrival of 23% back in Beaumont. We arrived at 21% driving at 115km/hr. Efficiency on the return trip was approx. 299wh/km.
Overall, very impressed with the truck. CCS charging is about as frustrating as I was anticipating... Quite.

I’m guessing that same trip in Jan or feb would require you to have second dinner in Leduc or Red Deer near a Petro Canada…

Or plug in for your meetings

Would not buy an EV for any sort of long distance trips in Canada. If they were cheaper for around town use then absolutely.
