Ok so numbers im getting back on a lariat sport, fx4, crew, 20” wheels, sunroof, etc exact same as cam clark ad except I added floormats and sunroof, 20k kms. Working out to 281/biweekly + $1k down. So total lease cost of $15,600 if my marth is right. Lump summing it upfront drops it to about $14,100 w/ the approx $1500 savings. Will have to mull this over.

Edit: typo on the sunroof. Just added floormats and the 20k kms

Edit2: can someone check my marth. 281 tax in bw with 1k down, if I lump sum what is my total lease obligation for the 24 mo?.

Cam Clark ad includes the sunroof.

Sick deal. For the 16k kms/yr? Did you have any $750 ford credit or xplan or anything like that or was it a straight deal with the dealership?

Did you do the factory order? If so did they give a timeline of when you'd receive it? Balloon payment at end of lease?

16k/year, no extra credits. Apparently a d-plan won't get me any better numbers.

Factory order, "around 3 months", no balloon payment, hand the keys back at the end.

I’ve been fighting the urge all weekend, went and looked at a lariat on the lot, it’s super nice. Didn’t go in or anything. Think I’m going to wait on this and do a purchase at a later date. Congrats to those that got a new truck.

Haha, I have it on good authority there will be excellent lightly used Lariat selection come April 2023

    You know that’s interesting.

They’ll likely be charging - what - 52-55k for this thing in two years? The dealer won’t see it for residual, they’ll tack on won’t they?

    That’s too expensive I think.

Ford's problem. It will be interesting to see what market value will be at that time though.

Most of these will likely end up going to USA unless exchange rate changes. Basically Ford prices the F150 the same between USA and Canada. So a $60,000 Lariat in Canada is a $60,000 Lariat in USA. So you have 30% to play with between the countries essentially due to exchange to send them down there and make some $.

These having a 20,000 mile lease limit would be pretty desirable down there I would think in 2 years.

I think that's the main motivation for this. Plus, dealers get to goose thier numbers to hit monthly/annual sales incentives, which can be massive for a place like Cam Clark.

Ok so latest updated numbers I'm getting

Lariat SCREW, FX4, sunroof, regular B&O stereo, tray floormats, sport, 20" wheels, 20k kms

After prepayment total lease obligation $13675

Seems a bit on the high end compared to guys w/ ~$12,000 for the 16k kms w/ upgraded stereo etc.

Anyone know if doing the 18" wheels and tires balances out? I would lose the $550 discount for FX4/20" but the msrp diff is about $500 so wondering if that makes large diff on the total cost? I'm not a big fan of the soccer mum looking tires on the 20", would rather get the 18" with the beefier treads since I head down farm grazing roads all the time

I wish I would have waited at the start and got in on the referral credits, lol.

Oh well, just waiting for the business office to call back and run everything. Then the worst part of all car buying, the ridiculous finance meeting and the "upsell", sigh

    Agreed.
Guy tried to sell me a package that was more per month than my truck. I shit you not. i thought he's slipped a digit somewhere but he assured me he had not. I chose the $0 biweekly package after a short discussion.

    It's like a $1-2/m difference.

    Dealer-man on RFD said:

FX4+20" Rims is an interesting situation you should look at. Ford offers a $550 "off road" MSRP discount associated with it. The residualized value of those options is almost identical to the MSRP discount, so the price of the truck remains almost exactly the same.
