I had the "ordinary" 3.5 EB in my 2012 and it was sick fast. now I have it again in my 2020, and it's sick faster. The 2021+ is even fasterer. It's a hell of an engine when you want to scoot or haul a load, and really easy to live with for daily use or taking grandma to church.

You should try a hybrid. The torque fill down low takes it to another level.

yup. All of my F150 trucks have had the 3.5 EB. Each iteration that engine got better. I love it. The fact that it is paired up with the Hybrid makes this pretty much my wet dream.

Y'all dreaming of R8s and MBs and whatnot, this is pretty much my "attainable dream vehicle". I was pretty jealous of the RAM 1500 interiors, but with this F150 refresh, I think they caught up about 90% of the way, and I am pretty happy with it.

Heard back from the gm from the store I ordered from and to no surprise, ford isn't willing to do anything.

After reading Darkane's post about Marlborough Ford, I called and spoke with one of their sales guys. He figures there is no way they can get close to those deals but he's going to look into it and get back to me.

A Marlborough Ford bro just posted on the Alberta F-150 FB group. They have 35 ‘21s in stock and want to deal.

Giving big bucks on trades they’re saying.

I called Marlborough yesterday to buy a Lariat and the manager told me that they are not offering deals due to not having enough inventory and that they are even selling trucks just above MSRP. Got the same response from Universal & Woodridge

So called Koch Ford in Edmonton and picked up a Lariat 502a with the 3.5 Eco for a very good price. Hoping that it arrives in July

side note Jack Carter Chev did offer me $6,900 of MSRP on a nice V8 1500 but it was a 12 week wait for delivery and still $8k more than what I got the F150 for.

More than welcome to man. There are only a few people I would let take my wheels out for a spin, and you are one of em.

That's brutal considering in January they were "selling" $70k f150s for $58k with that prepaid lease deal.

Should be better for towing the trailer with 18" load range E vs 20" XL's. TPMS registered with no hassle in first 15 minutes of driving too. Nice.

And I really like the 18" wheels. Like the look of extra sidewall, and think these wheels are pretty sharp too.

O2 sensors... anyone with a 13-16 1 gen eco that has had to replace them? I've had the P0151 and just recently after I did a SCT x4 canned tune (but with the latest update) I'm getting the other side with the P0131

man they're kinda pricy buggers and I understand with our ethonol content that they definately get more abuse than they should.

I'm wondering also if its just the PCM getting used to the new tune?

Running canned 87 - running 91, the code pops up every so often... I'll clear it and then its back under high throttle conditions.

Running canned 91 - running 91, the code popped up again, but has since self cleared and I've ran it for 3 days, even pulling the boat without the code.

I was really close to getting the shop to replace it... but maybe its just a re-learning? but that said if I did one side, it probably would require the other.

Also... I know there are tons of other custom tunes, but I am really surprised how good the 91 canned tune is. I have a Full Race intake and just a cat-back AFE exhaust, and wow... this is completely different truck.

Thing is... is a canned tune "safer" to run than a custom, or is it vicey versa? My truck has 172K now, and its been rock solid, so hoping even with a 91 or 87 tune, I won't overly compromise the reliability.

That said, my fuel eco is impressive... I dropped from an avg. of 13.1 down to about 11.8 - hoping its not running the motor too lean

Canned tunes are always going to be less aggressive than a custom tune, but they are likely a little bit fatter in terms of fueling, which will cause o2 sensors to wear out quicker. Custom is the way to go if you're going to tune.

yeah I think you're correct with this... that said fuel economy is at the least 5-10% better atop the better throttle response and low end power so that in itself is fantastic.

haven't gotten the p0151 but maybe not a bad idea to replace it as I had already replaced the other bank

I'd swap to 18's as well, if it wasn't #leaselife

You could've had it delivered with 18's if you didn't select the FX4 pack! I'd have installed a levelling kit if it wasn't for #leaselife.

Did you end up getting a tonneau cover?

The 20's made the residual go up, so it made my payments cheaper.

Yeah with the discount it made the FX4 + 20's Package like $500 extra BUT the boosted the residual at full price made the lease payments cheaper

I did the Fx4 w/ 18" because I didn't like the tire option on the 20" and wasn't about to buy new tires for a 2 yr lease.
