I don't do anything wrong. Ever. Although I'm certain my trailer has a larger frontal area than his, maybe substantially.

Oh well, burning fuel keeps Alberta employed. Burn lots, it's the patriotic thing to do.

Its the angle of my picture and the trailer on the ground which was a downslope that makes it appear low profile (and shorter). I can't get on top of it without using my 14ft ladder. I've always wondered if those soft cap trailers have lower drag than the flat fronts. I guess I'll need to buy a new one and find out.

As for what I do, I used to tow in M mode and keep it kind of in power, now I just use tow/haul and let it sort itself out which works really good. It usually wont shift above 8 which is the 1st OD gear (7 is 1:1), and I'm around 2K cruise. Keeps speed good, just shifts to 6 usually with a bit of hill to about 2700 or so, and I just keep my foot light enough to keep my speed. I don't pin it to get to highway speed and I don't waver the throttle a ton

Truck landed in Calgary last weekend. Dropped off at dealership earlier this week. Will probably take it home next weekend.

amazing... through a mountain pass too.

What kind of rear end gears do you have?

I love the fact that the 2.7 and 10 speed combo is sooo effecient, powerful and reliable - coupled to an aluminum bodied truck... I have to pinch myself because that is already so much more modern tech when compared to every other v8 out there.
Stayed with the 3.55 rear end since I don't plan on doing any appreciable towing at all. Super impressed with this motor+transmission combo.

These pictures are lies. No dealer has that much inventory on their lot!

    quick question for ya'll

I couldn't find it here, and I need to download it on my X4, but was someone able to prove that the knock sensor was constantly retarding timing on regular, but goes away on premium?

I'm just thinking if I were to go back to a performance 87 tune... its just upping boost but retarding timing anyhow, so is that safe?

I've been surprised by how quickly the inventory is coming in. Not at woodridge but where I am we received like 16-20 trucks over the past two days. Considering we had maybe 9 on the lot last week, that's pretty darn good.

Nice, dude! I confirmed with my dealer that nothing has changed and mine still has a build week of August 2nd. So basically in 2.5 weeks, dealer seems to think that chances are pretty good it gets built and not delayed. They also think that if there is no delays in the build week, they should be receiving it at the end of August. They think that because I haven't chosen any options like the bed liner, auto running boards, wheel well liners, etc... I should be golden.

My dealer mentioned the same thing yesterday. Haven gotten in 35 trucks or something in the last week and he says it is beginning to look like a dealership again.

Great news. Did you get a build date? Mine was built on June 14th, and arrived in Calgary just after Canada Day. I was originally told to expect it to land here about 5 weeks after build date, and it came in roughly half the time. From order date to landing in Calgary was just under 4 months. Taking it home tomorrow.

    Ordered January 8th

    Production date April 26th

    Transit date July 14th

Let's see if I actually get it next month haha.

Originally, I was being told I could see the truck early March and then everything went to shit. We don't need the truck, so we are fine waiting but the timeline is crazy.

I was told ford is offering an extra $500 off or free service for people that have been waiting like I have. I'll take the extra $500.

    God dammit. I’ve gotten a P2BEE CEL.

Anyone experience this? 2.7L with 25,000km.

Looks like leaky injectors, and a PCM reprog.
