Never seen such low inventory numbers before at this time of year. Woodridge shows 11 trucks. Typically around this time of year they would have closer to 100 from what I recall in the years past.

Yeah, I've been having conversations with several dealers, and it's comical how low inventory levels are. Dealer transfers are basically impossible these days too. Oh well, I still have one sales guys working on finding me something.

This is working out for them as they won't have a bunch of left over 2020s when the 2021s show up.

Not V8, I needed twin turbo power. 2020 F150 supercrew 4x4 3.5L EcoBoost XLT 302A sport package, magnetic grey, all the heavy towing options, big-ass towing mirrors, no sunroof (for increased payload). A kinda rare truck, possibly 1/1 available to purchase in Alberta this week, as I have been on the phone and email with dealer groups owning the vast majority of inventory. Only thing that would have been better is a flashier color like Rapid Red, but it just didn't exist in the configuration I wanted, and I didn't want to wait and pay more for a 2021. Will post pics when it arrives.

Solid choices. Just needs a couple more cylinders.

Big pro on having no sunroof.

It's funny, people love the sunroof, until they don't. Me, I am a specs junkie and trying to get the highest possible payload sticker with at least some creature comforts like heated seats. Will post as soon as I have it in my hands.

I’ve had my truck for a year, and I realized last week that I had no idea how my sunroof works.

Coles notes, the button I thought opened it did not open it lol

Weight of both money and weight for sure.

Yeah doesn't help that it is a $1750 option, and I can think of more exciting used for that much money. Plus the fact it eats into my payload AND is less reliable than flat sheet metal.
I'll just be happy to have a rear window that opens and a backup camera. Current truck is like a horse and buggy in comparison.

You know, I was the same way as you. I had no interest in the sunroof either, and would prefer if I didn't have it. but @baygirl convinced me to try it in my 2019, and I have to say it is pretty nice. I mean, I don't use it a TON, but when I do, it is enjoyable. I don't know if I would buy it again, but if the truck i was getting had it, it would not be a deal breaker.

You won’t regret not getting the sunroof...until you get caught in a hail storm.

Nah, 5.5. I park downtown too often to wheel the longer truck around. This thing is replacing my Honda Fit for comutting duty as well.

    Which dealer treated you right?

You will appreciate it when going down the deerfoot and all you need is PDR rather than having to vaccum glass.

Hail damages on the roof on my 6’ plus truck?

I know for a fact I’m not tall enough for that to be a problem lol

Job 1 for the dealers was to find the correct truck. That eliminated half the province right off the bat. In the end Woodridge nearly got it done, but cam Clark had a hair more wiggle room and got it done.

Good news. One of the two top dogs strikes again.

    Nice truck.
