Ended up going with michelin x-ice snow in 265/70/17 w/ crappy tire alloys. What a shit show that was trying to get the wheels from crappy tire. But, they were super cheap. Glad I went with the michelins through my buddy's shop and bonus got a $70 mail in rebate.

The Snows were remarkable on mine. Couldn't believe how quiet they were.

Anybody know how the build and delivery times have been lately for these trucks? Ordered one with the 7.3L through work, hopefully I see it before summer.

Apparently extremely variable based on specific option codes. But getting better for most. This a lower spec truck? Those should see the least delay. I doubt there's be an issue getting it for spring.

According to this thread, trucks are moving now. I had previously read that the F250/350 delays were longer than the F150.

Any chance parking brake would be covered under powertrain warranty? Mine has seized up in this cold weather; hopefully when things warm up it lets off, but it seems like it's internal to the drum (i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF9qPTg8g0M), not a problem with the cable (I checked and it moves freely).

Universal was more than happy to book me an appointment but I'm less than keen to pay them a fistful of cash over something simple but annoying to work on.

Is your truck driveable right now? Park it somewhere warm for 4+ hours. City parkades downtown work if you have nowhere else. Very good chance it's frozen water in the mechanism. So that wouldn't be covered under any warranty.

Drivable as long as I ignore the smell of roastin' brake material- Yeah I like that more than I like the idea of shelling out at the dealership.

Or just let it sit for a week until it warms up a bit? Go at it with a heat gun or hair dryer?

I can’t imagine driving any distance with a park brake on is a good idea.

Get a friend with a propane tube heater and warm it up. Then drive it. Will not be covered by powertrain warranty.

Are you saying it didn't start? Or you haven't tried yet. No tricks aside from block heater and battery charger.
