Build and Price needs to update to the 2023 model year, since you can't order 2022's anymore. Suspect a few kinks will get worked out at that point.

When I ordered my 2023 moon roof was on allocation cause of supply constraints… but my order got accepted with it … but I then walked away from the 2023 and picked up a 2022 for less money.

No heat wheels on 2023 which suxs

    My 23 has a sunroof.

It doesnt have the heated steering option currently but was told by Ford that once it becomes available the truck will be booked in and added. Im guessing the steering wheels have the coils and options just missing the chip for it

    Raptors are great.

I wouldn’t want to drive one everyday.

But I love that they exist and people buy them.
Raptor is the only F150 I could drive every day. They ride and turn and stop like a fat car instead of a pickup truck. Very hoonable.

Normal F150s I get annoyed pretty quick with how they ride and handle.

I don’t know what to believe with that, as there are guys in the states buying the parts and retrofitting it themselves.

And I was told with my 23 order that it just would not have it, gmc said they were going to retro fit parts and no one has got the parts to retrofit but there are new truck being built with the missing options.

Anyone experience loud rattling noise during these extra cold days?

After warm up, put it in drive and as soon as I start moving truck starts making a decently loud rattle noise, sound matches revs, goes away after driving a block.. Curious as it seems to happen on days its -20 or colder

If it rattles when you put it in drive, it could just be as simple as a heatshield, but it could also be trans related. If its still under warranty, take er in.

Any new purchases over the christmas break? Any deals lately?

Ford ending the 1.49% on 2022 F-150's tomorrow or sometime this week.

Finally had my door locks freeze on me over xmas. Ive heard about the door lock freeze issue so anytime i washed in winter i always sprayed away from the door lock areas but i used a drive through one and that messed it up real nice. My doors wouldnt even unlock properly, had to climb through the rear seats once and the worst was the passenger door not latching. Had to use my jacket to tie around the grab handle and pull on it while i drove home. Took a blow dryer to the holes in the door and that thawed them out but what a mess

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I believe there is an extended warranty recall if it does happen to you.

Has anyone had to replace the passenger side valve cover gasket on the ecoboost yet and have a rough idea on cost? I've got a leak on that side and its either the valve cover gasket (common) or the vacuum pump (less common) but trying to get a quote from any of the dealers this week has been like pulling teeth. I'll call, let them know what I am looking to have done, give them my VIN and then get told they will look into it and call me back but its been 3 days so my hopes are not high of actually hearing back
Couldn't find a time that worked to get into Double J so I kept fighting with the Ford by me. It only took 3 phone calls and finally going in to ask them if they weren't taking any new business or what their deal was before I got in. Finally getting that gross burnt oil smell taken care of.

    What year and mileage?
My 2017 is in the shop right now for IWE issue and got a call from the service advisor that valve cover gasket has a small leak and it's not covered by my warranty anymore.
    Cost is about $1,100.

So what's everyone's plans with their cheap leases?

Wife hasn't been a fan of the fuel bills compared to her Rav4, so she starting looking at SUVs again end of last year. We also don't "need" a truck - The only trailer in the family is a monster the baby ecoboost can't even tow anyways & we're not buying one anytime soon either.

Has another Rav4 (Hybrid) on order, but it's 6+ months away still & rates are terrible. She debated a Bronco, but they only get good if you option them out at $60k+. Currently looking like we'll buy it out and see what things look like in another 6 months.

This planning your car purchases a year in advance sucks...

Buy it out and sell private or keep until the SUV shows up.
Bronco is wicked, base model manual.

Call the dealer, get the buyout number, make a bank draft and appointment with finance person, go to dealer, hand it to finance person, get bill of sale, go to registry and remove lease from the registration.
