Will Ford even honor X plan right now? Seems most people at work are still getting laughed out of dealerships for trying to get fleet pricing honored by any manufacturer.
Yes. I just ordered a Maverick with X-plan and it was no issue at the dealership I used.

If anyone is interested in an F-150 Lightning every Ford dealer in the city seems to have several of them. Maybe the fact it's an EV and most are north of $100k is why it doesn't seem to be selling.

Changed the oil. OLM still said 5%, but it had been long enough, over 13,200 kms. LOL. Have another 2000 km to do in the next two weeks too. Have some work trips. Nice to have fresh oil for winter.

Will buy more WIX filters online for black Friday likely

I usually go sooner. But I don't stress till zero percent. I didn't realize it was that many km. However, no worries, I've got bigger problems in my life.

    For 2024:
2.7L eco is the standard engine now and not avail in Lariat and above trims, Platty now top of the line trim and only avail in a powerboost.

no more sport appearance package... if you dont want chrome you have to go BAP.

STX is now a full blown trim and not a package...

Stx was really popular in the USA, don't think it sold well here. Interesting changes, especially the so-called "no charge option" of the hybrid package. I feel like there's fine print that will be meaningful there.

well i dont know about the rest of Canada, but the STX did not really sell well here... but Alberta tends to ball out of control so i dont think a work truck with rims is Alberta's cup of tea...

I do see more of them in BC when out camping but hardly any in Alberta...

all the info is US based so it might not be a 100% of what is going on in Canada ...

I am not a crome guy so i guess until further notice i will have to get BAP trucks...

Real sign of the times when no drivetrain changes happen.

People care more about iPads than propulsion.

    Loses power

They have not released 2.7 power numbers yet cause they have not certified the engine with the new emissions regs.

Don’t worry, the sound and feel will still be there after they rebuild the front diff. Ask me how I know.

I think it’s mostly an f150 thing? My dad and uncle both have diesel f350 plats, and they’ve been reasonably trouble free for a few years and a shitload of kms on one of them.

I have a 2014 F-150 Ecoboost and the only "ford issue" issue I ever had with it was the cold start rattle and I got that repaired under warranty (well just out of warranty but they covered 60% of it). Besides that its been a sensor and then wear parts.

A quick perusal of this thread makes it sound like the entire drivetrain is comprised of wear parts
