The '17 with the new 3.5 is what you want anyway. Much more torque.

Curious about what kind of deal you would end up with.
I'll be in the market for a '17 around May as my current lease would be up by then.

Here's a current lease deal on the F150 from Cam Clark in Airdrie. Havne't shopped around leases much, but this works out to $655.55 a month for 24 months.
I assume you have to call them for details. I also assume this is a plain jane XLT with only the Trailer package and camera as options. Probably the 2.7 EcoBoost as well, but that does sound like an amazing engine.

And this is the sale prices from the same dealership. I find advertised prices to be a good barometer in this market, because it's so competitive, most dealerships won't spend advertising money on anything that isn't pretty darned good. Obviously very few specs showing for these trucks, you have to talk to the dealership to get the details.

That add is for a prepaid lease though.

You pay the full lease amount up front, it's a bit misleading.

question for the guys with the subwoofers from factory...

Is the sub powered separately, and does it flesh out the sound nicely? I never really missed it, but when I bought Baygirl's focus, it has a sub in the back, and I gotta say, the sub in there REALLY fills out the sound so nicely, I now notice it lacking in the truck...

What are your thoughts on them? Is it worth trying to find one to install?

If you can get it for cheap, why not?

I'm a fan of how it sounds. It does really fill out the lows nicely. I do recommend doing the poly fill mod. It really helps the sound. As for being separately powered or not, I am unsure.

They are different. 15+ is hidden somewhere. 11-14 it's under the passenger rear seat.

I think its worth it. For hardwired audio it is really good. For sat radio you can tell its a bit flat. It definitely rocks pretty good, people are quite hard on it on the ford forums but its unfounded. I do wish it had more equalizer options, just bass/mid/high is a bit frustrating

There were a few different options people had used for subs...

Hey, anyone have a favourite ford dealership? I have two buddies looking to buy in the next month, and would appreciate recommendations. Can be inside or outside Calgary, both of them are fine to travel for a good deal. Obviously, if it's out of town, they need to be willing to deal via phone or email. Nobody wants o drive an hour to window shop....

    Thanks.

Bought my last 2 from Woodridge Ford, and there is a Beyonder here in the finance dept. Best sales experience I have had, bar none.

And, if i refer them, they get a discount, and I get some cash towards some accessories that I need LOL!

Well, nothing much has changed if you're buying a new 2017 F150. Costco $1000 offer is back though instead of the cash back offer from before.
If you can find a 2016 model, the factory rebate is $10k now + Costco.

I ended up making a deal with Heartland Ford in Fort Saskatchewan.
    2017 Ingot Silver F150 Platinum
$64k + Taxes and Fees. That's about 18% off MSRP.

I am pretty pissed off. The paint on these aluminium bodies is SUPER thin. small rocks are making HUGE chips. Spent a bunch of today fixing them. ONLY saving grace is that its an aluminium body, so it won't rust.

Installed a weathertech stone guard today.

Now I just need to give it a really good cleaning.

Selling my Nokian Rotiiva AT 275/55/20 off of my F150, as I went to a larger tire size after the level. Used for 2 summers, even wear at 80%,

Listed for $700 on kijiji, could likely do better for anyone on beyond. Send me a PM if interested. Cheers.

What's the approximate cost on that?
