Cool link, some neat tricks in there...seems like a similar idea to what i've seen my buddy do with VAGCOMThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I was hoping there'd be something similar for the 08-14 Expy, so I could turn off that bloody courtesy wipe and have the mirrors fold in on lock
Alas! there's none to be found
Pretty sure you can turn off the courtesy wipe in the cluster settings.
Not in the 08-14 Expedition, unless there's a secret menu I haven't pressed the button combo to accessThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I did Lincoln autofold mirrors as well if I recall correctly. Also, with the 2.7 I got the turbo gauge to show up on top right instead of whatever else was there.
Oh and I got rid of the fake engine noise through speakers... cause fuck that noise.
Yep me too. I have it on my 2014 FX-4 and have never had a need for it so a few years back before we had kids the wife and I took it out for a drive in the foothills and tried it out. Neat feature but definitely not a need to have. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

even on fireroads or trails with serious inclines, I've always found hill descent control way too fucking slow. Hurry that shit up I've got places to be and undercarriage shit to damage
What's everyone planning on doing w/ their lease deals come next spring? Buyout @ ~$47k residual and sell back to dealer? ..??? profit?
Tap, Rack, BANG!
That's a good question. I think the bubble is starting to pop on truck values. With the rise in gas prices and the rapid inflation we are all experiencing, I am seeing used prices come down a smidge, and even hearing of dealers offering small discounts on vehicles they have on the lot. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I think you will still make money buy buying out the lease if you can in the next few months if you are in the position to do so. Spring of 2023, that's too far out in this economy to predict I think.
I have also heard rumors of dealers requiring the first right of refusal on lease buy backs too, so check your lease carefully.

I'm too simple for lease math, so I just bought my truck. Will sell for $69k

My residual is 61k. I doubt I'll get that in 2023.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Was that on a platinum or something? Not the lariat deal?
My lariat deal was a $70k msrp, $58k "sell price" , and like $47k residual on 20k kms/yr 24 mo lease.
Tap, Rack, BANG!
You made me dig out the paperwork. You're right, $49k residual. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I like the new trucks... but I also like no payments.... WWBD
I just paid the whole lease up front. That way, I have no payments, AND I saved on some of the interest rate.

Haha, this. I liked that after the rebate and residual adjustment it made the cheap lease cheaper . I'd never get it on a truck otherwise. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We're about to hit a year here, so far no real complaints but I also never really drive it it unless the wife is busy and my needs are bigger than my trunk.

It's my DD, but I wfh, so after a year, I barely have 9k on the truck. I still love the thing, but I need to get it in for an oil change.
