Arrow Buick reintroduced the GNX and T type.

Cool to see their new GNX. It should have the TT 3.6L V6 that puts out between 350-400hp.
Kind of wish I would of waited until this came out.
Probably going to go for a decent price though, a lot more then I paid for mine.
Not exactly worthy of the name GNX, since that was an absolutely ICONIC car when it came out in 1987, but a damn good attempt at re-creating that. We'll see how this turns out in terms of performance.

Um, that has all of nothing to do with a K car, in any conceivable sense. The old GNX was a corvette Killer, thats why GM halted it after a year of production, since it was taking a very notable share of corvette sales. That turbo 3.8L V6 put out noticeably more power then the LT5 offered in the corvette at the time.

So to compare that to a K car is about as clever as comparing a Lambo to a semi-truck.

do not like the fact theyre calling it a GNX. the least they could have done is do what chev did with the camaro and give it at least some sort of GNX look.

edit: i dunno what look that would be, but something other than that.

It should be a 2 door, that's my only problem with this whole situation.

Yeah thats ruffling a lot of feathers. Most people earnestly feel its not worthy of the GNX name. If its offered as a 400hp AWD, i think its quite worthy really.... but we will see if that's possible.
Seems like its a rebadged Regal, with 100hp more, with a different rear end.

I think it a ATS or CTS chopped, those chops have been around for a long ime now.....not a GN or GNX.

It will come though, the GN may be a four door and the GNX a two door. Likely built off the ATS' RWD alpha platform.

I thought the entire point of trimming down the GM lineup was so that each brand could focus on different areas. Cadillac has done a pretty good job of redefining themselves as luxury performance, while Buick has carried on the trusted name with their older clients looking for affordable luxury cars (which makes sense when you look at how many baby boomers with no retirement fund are out there).
Its tough to say. Buick has bigger market than Caddy in certain places. Giving it ATS platform should make them more competitive, especially in Europe and China.

The rear looks 5 series-ish to me. The front has a Masi feel to it. I like the idea of rebirthing the GNX, but this isn't how I'd expect to see it.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Its going to be odd to have a 4 door GNX, so we'll see what comes into fruition.
