Either way it's a shitty deal, but I think by tomorrow with all of these suspect pictures circulating the news there will be some major news about the bombing. Already saying two suspects have been caught after the MIT shooting...

Funny how cautious CNN is with info that is breaking now after being wrong yesterday.

When FBI was confirmed at the MIT crime scene:

"We now have confirmation of at least one FBI agent on scene and this is significant. Correction, this is potentially significant because it would mean a national crime has taken place as FBI only work on national crimes. Not that we are saying a national crime has been committed by the suspect here tonight. We are not saying this is linked to Monday's events."

Things were pretty crazy for the last couple hours. Two middle eastern men carjacked someone. The victim escaped when they stopped at a gas station and a shootout transpired with police shortly thereafter. Reports of explosions and/or grenades and "long guns" fired at police. 1 officer down. A couple of suspected "devices" were found and bomb squad called.

Information is shady on who they have in custody right now. It looks like one person in custody. Although some people mentioned two suspects, but this was later corrected to 1 suspect.

One guy shown in the photos was not related and just returning from work. I'm not sure if he was the initially reported "second suspect" or the one suspect they have in custody.

They're making entry into a house right now with a tactical unit.

Shit is going down.

Obviously, a lot of people think this is linked to the bombing due to the middle eastern decent, explosives, and location, but nothing confirming one way or the other from the police.

EDIT: I should point out that all of this info is from reddit on the findbostonbombers sub. Lots of speculation and unverified facts obviously.

Boston Globe is saying the one person in custody IS one of the suspects from the marathon bombing. Twitter (edit: now on their home page too: http://www.bostonglobe.com/.) They were quoting "officials" as their source. The second suspect is still being pursued.

Just heard on the scanner that there was shots fired. (I think the cop said 15 shots fired, but it was hard to tell.)

Confirmation over the police radio that they are pursuing the "white hat" suspect and that they already have the other suspect in custody. Pretty quick police work if they collar both guys tonight.

Rumors are that the one suspect in custody has died. Someone on the scanner has just said the one suspect not in custody is the guy with the white hat in the photos. Obviously the cops/FBI have confirmed its the two suspects from the marathon bombing if they are talking like that on the radio.
