Default Mazda 6 wagon - not in North America

It's too bad because this is a sweet looking ride IMO. Really wish we had more mid-sized wagon options here... compact hatches are too small, and crossovers are too big and dumb-looking (soccer-mom-mobiles). This mazda 6 wagon would be great, a Panamera for the masses.

^^I like it It looks like an actual car, instead of another boring wagon//minivan/SUV cross that is all the rage these days (among overweight women and soccer moms).

Nobody buys the Mazda 6 in North America so makes sense to not bring this abomination over.

It's a nice car but it'll be a slow mover for Mazda NA. I'm hoping that changes very soon because I really love the new gen.

2014 will bring a few more wagon options to North America. Volvo is bringing back the v60. VW has the Golf 7 Variant. BMW already has the 3 series and may be bringing in a diesel option. The CTS wagon may be sold for one more year. Unfortunately that is about the only true wagons we can buy.

Nah it's cool, we don't need estate cars...

Perhaps if wagons/estate cars were more popular in north america, everyone wouldn't need to drive around their FUCKING GARGANTUAN suv's and trucks.

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.

    fuck that.

I rented a Mazda 6 sport wagon back in like '06 for a weekend or whatever. Fucking LOVED that car. Was comfy to drive, handled like a dream, lots of get up and go, and good fuel mileage, and lots of room in the back seat and cargo area.

Always said after that, that if I could, I would buy one.

Mind you, it didn't look like the pictures above either...

I would totally rock a Mazda6 Wagon... if it had more power.

185hp isn't enough for this guy, lol. I don't know why they stopped offering the Mazdaspeed6. Hell you don't even need to make it a Mazdaspeed, just give the option for the bigger turbo engine.

Skyactiv-D delayed until next year for the sedan, 2.2L TD 173 hp and 310 lb·ft:

The 2.5L Skyactiv-G also won Car of the Year for Popular Mechanics

I'm sure Rage will post the SEMA pics but they had 2 6s at SEMA, I thought this concept was interesting - pretty minimalistic, 'Ceramic 6 Concept':

Now please Mazda, shove a Turbo 4cyl in it, call it 'DISI Skyactiv' whatever you want

The FX and this both look like a shoe and are equally terrible looking.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.
