Was about to change off my winter tires tonight when I realized the all seasons ' previous location wasn't marked on them (Driver front, pass rear, etc.). Long story - car was in storage for several years, towed it to mechanic to trade out all fluids in the fall, so I also got him to change to winter tires then. He didn't mark where each tire came off from...
Not sure how big of a deal it is? I normally just do a front to back switch since that's what my dad always told me to do (after my quick google it seems is probably wrong, but whatever), but I'm not sure how much of an issue it will be if I just put them on randomly? Tires are pretty well worn and probably only have a summer or two left.
Thoughts?
There's a Kal Tire right beside my work...any idea on ballpark cost to get them to just do it? Would their alignment machines tell them which tire should go where?
