It is being reported that two women saw a guy throw that bag over the fence and then head for the LRT.

Again, it's probably nothing.

EDIT: Confirmed to not be explosives. Awesome.

Now, because of the media and their broadcasting of Terror.... people are seeing bombs everywhere. (really? a box suddenly becomes a bomb?)

It was only Old City Hall and not the Municipal Building. It was in lock down since 7:40am and was called off about 20 minutes ago.

We all just laughed down here.

After examining the bag, police confirmed there were no explosives inside. The bag contained a handful of items such as mouthwash, some clothing and a few CDs.

Years ago I was on the c-train and a random backpack was left under a seat. Eventually somebody noticed it was abandoned and went to open it. Before he could even get to it this one guy started tripping out and was like "don't touch it man" I want in NY during 9/11, that kind of stuff makes me nervous, don't touch it. Managed to scare the other guy and nobody would touch it.

Confusing part was if the guy was so paranoid of it, why he didn't get off the train. After he was gone, it turned out to be just an empty bag. lol
