June 1 Cruise to Three Hills

Weather did not co-operate with us today, so the Drumheller cruise was cancelled. There is a Classic Show n Shine in Three Hills next weekend, which would be a nice event to make the cruise out worthwhile.

I'll be heading out earlier on Saturday because I have to be back home in the afternoon. I'll keep an eye out for you guys.

Not sure if anyone is aware, as part of the weekend, they are running an 1/8 mile drag strip at their airport on the Sunday with test and tune Saturday evening. I won't be able to hit the test and tune but I'm looking to head out there on Sunday to get some passes under my belt.

my gas gauge is unbelievably inaccurate. It has no low
fuel light either! Once you get below half, that means fill up
now or stick out your thumb! Depends how spirited we get I guess LOL. 100 kms should be ok though, not sure for Mr.carb in his Chevelle haha..

Take the back way not highway 2.........I always take #2 to Crossfield then head east thru Beiseker......then north on whatever sign tells me that takes me to Three Hills, don't remember the number. It's an awesome cruising/playing road lots of straights and then some fun corners and very nice scenery.

Ok I stopped being lazy, here we go check it out. North #2...East on 72 at Crossfield turnoff....after you blow thru Beiseker and cross 806 it turns into Highway 9 still heading East. Then head North on highway 21 to Three Hills,big straight stretches on highway 9 .

Ps. Mr Chevelle and Mr Hallowed_point...you shouldn't need too fill up...but if you still are nervous I'd fill up in Airdrie ....Tim Hortons and Petro Can are beside each other.

Haha, I'm sure I can make it too but..

I have no speedo and therefore no odometer so I have no idea what kind of fuel economy I get. But I know it's not good!

I've never seen them when I've gone.....but ya of course look out for those and
LSChevelle if you have a GPS they usually show speed and have odometer
