You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

It definitely applies to pike. it's C&R for all sportfish within the river.
When did this come into being - I don't fish the Bow so I haven't really paid attention to the Bow River specific regulations.
    Will fuck off, again.

You still need tags from the walleye draw to keep any of these. It's misleading in the regs, but there are no walleye limits in AB without tags.

No tags required, where have you seen it in the regs that it is required?

This year. Makes enforcement of C&R on trout way easier, as now pretty well if you see a guy keeping a fish, odds are he's poaching

In another way it's also good as the regulations will be much less confusing than before.

It says it right in the link you just posted????

To ensure the health of walleye populations, the province is using a tag system this year to prevent overfishing in the newly opened lakes. The draw system will also support conservation efforts and ensure a sustainable harvest.

    Lol
In the paragraph above it it says no tags then it says tags required. Sounds like a trap

    regs only show:

    New Harvest Opportunities
Ø Pike: Magee Lake, Manatokan Lake, Bangs Lake.
Ø Walleye: Pine Coulee Reservoir, Burnstick Lake, Gleniffer Reservoir,
Gull Lake, Lac Bellevue, Bourque Lake, Hilda Lake, and Lac La Biche.
    Ø Yellow Perch: Strubel Lake.

No (no tags) entries in the reg book or website that I can find. Wondering if they also have them tagged for population monitoring, so no tagged fish can be kept. I'd probably call someone before attempting to keep any.

Old thread but seems to be the best place to ask - I recently found a bunch of my old fishing gear, probably hasn't been used in 15 years. Would any of you have use for this sort of thing? Just some misc lures, hooks, weights, accessories, a tackle box, and a I have a fairly large net and a couple other things not shown:
