    Supply and Demand.

Price must be raised or gas stations will be emptied.

I think we can beat $1.25 this year.

Consumers have proven that they aren't price sensitive, so I have no idea why prices aren't higher.

Cheap fuel isn't a right, and from an environmental standpoint, it's not even a socialy desireable thing.

Thankfully I filled over three hundred 2L pop bottles with gas from when it was under a dollar.

My basement is the perfect storage place for them too.

Too bad they already changed it to $1.25 when I fueled up at 10 pm. Was hoping to make the cut before it hiked.

I paid $124.9 this morning on the Island, though the station down the road was up at $137.9... so we're in for super expensive gas this summer, I guess.

It's long weekend time! Probably first driving weekend of the year!

At Costco in the NW Sarcee last night they were selling premium for regular price because they ran out of regular. So it was $1.149 for premium. They were open till 9:30pm.

Forget about regular prices, premium is much worse..I think I paid $1.32
last night. But it's all relative, Vancouver is INSANE. I don't know how someone
could afford to drive a performance car out there daily.

Traffic + hills kill mileage too and Vancouver has more of that than Calgary.

Hongcouver is just full of mainlander money. Fact.

    True, true..

Just wanted to throw it out there for arguments sake.

The thing with gas is no matter how high the prices go, people will still need it and pay whatever to get it. It's only 12-15$ more to fill my tank with current prices than when it was around 1.05$. It's not THAT big of a deal realistically.
