8.8L/100km last tank and I still saved enough on my cheap fill this afternoon ($122.9 for almost 29L) for a relatively decent cup of joe. Shudder to think what the big-ass Chev SUV is gonna cost to fill up though - time to start selling the kids.
    Will fuck off, again.

It's pretty funny how many people choose to buy large suvs or cars that take premium then cry about gas prices.

Yeah, there was just over an 1/8th left. Didn't want to wait to fill up at a higher price.

Call your MP, before they were in power, the party we have now was all over the Liberals for double taxation and excessive taxation on gasoline. Now they are in power they are silent on the issue.. Phone everyday and remind them..
If no one says anything, nothing will ever get done about it.
Gas boycotts don't work because everyone needs fuel, however everyone could boycott one brand.
Gas in Montana is about 95 cents a litres right now, and just had a big increase .03 from 92 cents a litre.. But here they feel its ok to jam us between 6-9 cents a litre over night. thats like gas jumping 30 some cents a gallon overnight. They say there is no money to be had in refining in Alberta, but every year our fuel prices over step those of others, and supply is the excuse.
Some people are nonchalant about this, because, you know we are all ballers here right, but the price of this fuel hits you more than just at the pump. There are fuel surcharges on every service and product used. I charge for my truck every call I do, I work for schoolboards, manufacturing plants, office buildings, when fuel goes up, I charge them more, they tax you more or charge you more. This cost has a direct impact on your cost of living in every sector.

I struggle to put 40L into the Versa at 1/4 full mark about once a week. Worst case if gas jumps by $0.10, the bill goes up $4 per fill up or $16 per month. Hurray for small cars. I do see the need for big trucks though, and would love to have one sometime down the road.
Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.
