Default Passport renewal at Harry Hays

Has anyone gone for a passport/renewal at the Harry Hays building lately?

I'm just wondering if they still have 3 hour lines of if I can get in and out in a decent amount of time. I was thinking of heading down there around 10am today but I have an appointment in the NW at 1pm.

I am I crack for thinking this is possible?

Last time I went I was in and out in 30 minutes. This was mid afternoon back in October.

Amen, in and out, just like that, about 1.5 years ago... Also helped the momma with hers and it was super quick.

Just prep it and use the online forms. Wam, Bam, you'll be a travellin man!

Did mine a couple months ago, went in the morning, in and out in about 10 minutes. Just make sure you papers are all filled out and you'll be out of there quick.

Ya the trick is to get all the forms done before going. The line is shorter for those with completed applications.

Amen to all the above posters.

I went 2 weeks ago as I had a last minute trip to LA (3 days after I went for renewal) and I was in and out in 15 minutes.

Make sure you read all the instructions on the passport renewal page on their website and have all appropriate documents. To rush a passport (24 hours) you will need to have proof you are travelling soon according to the website, although the lady didn't ask me for my travel itinerary.

They will charge you 30 dollars for rush or something like that.

    Hope this helps.

you really don't have to pay for rush at all

there is a small box supposedly top corder (left or right).... just check that box off and make sure you fill in all the docs and you have your licence and what not to prove your identity...

they won't ask nothing but they might ask you when you leaving and you could always say unknown when i am leaving as it can be next week to two weeks..

my bro in law did that and he got his passport in a week to week and half

    Oh really?

I didn't see anything on the form. I also needed a rush renewal because I was flying in 3 days...

I think your brother just got the standard which makes sense why he didn't have to pay for rush.

I think most people are just mailing theirs in these days, which is why the lines are so much better. I just renewed my passport and turnaround was 2 weeks by mail. The previous passports had always been done at Harry Hays, and getting there was always a pain in the ass. There's also an office in the NW in the building across from McMahon Stadium where I think you can renew your passport. Maybe that will be more convenient if you're in the NW already. http://www.passportcanada.gc.ca/serv...C=on&chkSCC=on
