Review: Zen8

IMO, the best Sushi in town, its a little overpriced but worth it.

yea one of my friends is an exchange student from japan, he only eats at zen8 and wa's. I like going to eat with him, its basically 3 hours of non stop eating and drinking beer

I have eaten at just about every decent sushi place in town and there are much better places than Zen8.

The fact that you are lining that roach vickers pockets if you eat at zen8 is reason enough not to eat there.

I wasn't a big fan of Zen8, I am not interested in overpriced Sushi-fusion cuisine.

My local favorites for sushi are: Wa's and Sushi Hana, both have great fresh food and a personable family-oriented staff.

I am a sucker for Ma and Pa joints, not uber-trendy, uber-priced restaurants.

exactly what zen8 and other vicker's places, especially chicago chophouse, good, but not that good.

Same here, think of how many sushi restaurants there are in Calgary now. How do you decide, and more importantly really distinguish from some places? I like it simple though, there is a small place called the Japanese Noodle House on 12th ave & 13th street that is own/op by husb & wife. Small, great sushi, awesome service.
