    Default Need a roofing recommendation

I thought we had a big thread on this from last years storm but I can't find it.

Can anyone recommend a good roofing company?

By "good" I mean good quality work, not necessarily the cheapest.

another vote for united roofing. they did a great job, cleaned up very well, and were very quick. I work in construction and see a lot of hack shows, they are better than most!

Give West Quality Construction a shout.

Owner is Francois, you can tell him Ray @ 1up Insurance referred you there.

He actually did some work for my clients and have heard positive comments from them about his work.

Would not recommend Sunik. 3 weeks to complete a 1,200 sq/ft rancher. Unprofessional crew, had to beg for a clean up crew to come out.

I used Claw Roofing for mine last year...

In and out in one day.

    House and Garage.

My wife noticed one of their workers not replacing wood rot like they said they would (on the garage) and snapped some pictures.

Company fired said worker (at least I was told they did...), and fixed the issue within 2-3 days.

    Roof Hospital.

    Great work, clean site.

I had a leak a couple years later that turned out to be unrelated to the roof job (plumbing vent stack) and they came out the same day to check it out and fix it if possible.

My neighbour used Sunik roofing around the same time, shingles sat on her roof for almost 6 weeks, they took forever to complete it and they charged her about 15% more than mine cost despite being very similar in size and configuration. They also left garbage all over the place where as United Roofing cleaned up everything.
I ended up going with these guys (United). They did an awesome job. The owner came buy and spent a good 2 hours talking with me, then they dropped off the supplies last week, showed up a day or two later, and the 2man crew finished it all in 2 days (About 3000 sq/ft) including cleanup.

I ended up with the Legacy shingles too as the old iko's were completely destroyed, and I didn't want to use them again. Hopefully these ones last a bit longer.
