    Default Speeding ticket from Airdrie

I got speeding ticketfrom Airdrie area that shows Airdrie court.
I went to Calgary court to see Crown but they told me to go to Airdrie court. Do they have see crown to deduct de-merit point like Calgary court?
Does anyone have experience about that?
    Please give some tips.
    What should I do?
I don't want to any de-merit point, I don't mind pay full amout ticket not to have de-merit point.

    Thank you in advance

You should go to Airdrie court and see the JP.

Also, isn't this whole no demerits thing is pointless unless you are at risk of losing your license. Demerits or not, these tickets will still show up on an abstract won't they?

Nope, I got my $400 6 demerit stunting ticket reduced to $115 and 2 and the title changed to unsafe turn. So it's for sure worth it.

If he is convicted they will show up. Its hard to have a speeding
ticket completely thrown out. Have to prove you had a heart attack
and stepped on the gas or something.

You can try to hire a traffic lawyer but all they will do is get you down
a point for two and cost a few hundred. It all depends on how fast you
were going and what the speed limit was.

I attached a link below that will help you reduce your points on your license.

Not to sure why people speed when they don't want demerits. I stopped
driving like a retard awhile ago and haven't had a ticket or been pulled over
    since.

I thought stunting was 4 demerits and careless driving was 6 ?

I've received both tickets before and that's what I remember.

    Nvm its 3 points.

Pretty sure insurance goes by number of convictions, so reducing derits isn't going to affect that.

Its people like you that drive the argument that there should be mandatory retesting and zero tolerance rules.

Personally, I'd love it if they introduced a mandatory 2 day traffic safety course if you are convicted of a traffic offense other than speeding under 30kph over. Comes out of the offender's pocket and can only be taken on a weekday.

I've learned from my mistakes and cleaned up my act. If murderers
can have a second chance at life I think I should be able to have
a chance to make up for my mistakes.

Who didn't go drifting or do stupid shit when they were 16 and got
their first car ? If you didn't then you either had a shitty car or
    a boring life.

This was 5 years ago, maybe it's been changed. I have seen people get 4 demerit stunting as well

You can just go in yourself and ask for a reduction. Had to show up to Airdrie court for a ticket and just sat down with a JP who lectured me a bit and then reduced my ticket price and demerits.

Airdrie tickets suuuuck, their court is open one day a month iirc, and it is a weekday morning. I got a "rolled through red" and ended up just paying a lawyer to go deal with it. They really should just role it into calgary's court system, that shithole town might as well be a suburb at this point.

My company has a demerit tolerance for driving company vehicles, go over 7 and you are no longer able to use them.

Not a big deal for me in the office but I would hate to see it happen to one of our field technicians.
