    Default 99 SiR shake

The other day I was driving on stoney and it sounded like I ran over something but there was nothing on the road. I hauled over to check and everything seemed to be in order and handling well still so I continued on my way. Yesterday all of a sudden it just decides that under acceleration (not just hard but normal acceleration) it shakes like you wouldn't believe. If you push the clutch in it stops. I'm guessing maybe I have a bad axle, motor mount, or something in my transmission is wrong. Any imput on what it might be would be apprectiated as i'm really busy with work and really don't have the time right now. Thanks.

This EXACTLY happened to me. For me when I was driving back from Regina, the car would shake but it gets worse at higher speeds. When the clutch is engaged, it stopped shaking. It turned out to be my driver side axle which blew up inside the boot.

I'd say either axle or ball joint or both

Get under the car and start looking/grab and pulling for the obvious like what everyone else said.
    Betting on axle issue.

Won't be a wheel weight. That will stay with you unless you start slowing down and out of the shake point.
