    Default Wall mounted tire racks

Saw the wall mounted tire racks a princess auto ($60) a couple months back and planned on picking a couple up once I got the garage all sorted out.... well now they don't carry them anymore and I'm wondering if anyone has had luck tracking them down elsewhere? I only want the ones that are adjustable by length so you can make the tires snug between the two horizontal pieces.

    Canadian Tire $159

It appears these are both the same, with Canadian Tire being $100 more. Also appears to be the same one tire rack sells in the states which ends up being even more expensive after shipping.

The canadian tire one goes on sale for ~$80-$110 semi-frequently, just sign up for the sale alerts and wait.

If you're impatient you can do like I did and weld together cut up bed frames to make almost the same thing. Angle iron costs money but people just give away old bed frames
Took me about 2 hours to make a pair of them, but of course, the are non-adjustable.

I have two of the Cdn Tire ones and they work well, it is big enough for 5-8" wide wheels per rack. (So easily fit most sets of four) They arent width adjustable, but the tires wont really go anywhere either, however there are several hole options for the cross bars to fit to your wheels.

Here's some for $20. They won't gouge your head open when you hit them either.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Nice rack out of wood .... thought of building some myself but then we did a group buy from somewhere so it was relatively cheap to get some (similar or same as the Tire Rack ones) so I did not bother to build some.

However, I could use some more right now .... thanks for the photos! Might have to go shopping for some 2x4's!

Use some of this for the chains if you want them to be snug on the ends. Keep them from ever potentially hurting the rims.
