How does it work when you want to move, do you need have a down payment for the new house or enough equity in your old house to cover, or can you just swap over your mortgage if you bought for the same price as you sold for (I know there will be other closing costs and realtor fees involved)

Just wondering how the process work and if i'd be able to do it or not

You need to have enough cash for down payment then you can get bridge finance for the transition. You need to make sure that your current house is sold though. So you can be in trouble if your house is not sold before the possession date of your new house.
