    Wow Canmore is alot worse off than i thought. When i heard the higway closed i thought nothing of it. But after seeing those videos, it looks like the highway is complete gone.

    My parents who are 3-400 feet back from the creek were just evacuated as well. Some craaazy shots from my bro and friends who live right by the creek:

    Its all good, insurance will pay out for your house washing away (assuming you have act of God coverage) and the people will build close to the river again - and repeat the cycle every 30 years.

    Everything near the river in High River is being evacuated. Buddy had to drive through a foot of water in his parking lot to leave. Some cars couldn't make it out.
