Just got word from parents that Cranston Sobeys (and probably most grocery stores) is a complete and utter gong show. Not sure how much I believe but apparently the shelf and clearing/cleared out. Do people really think it's going to get that bad that they need to stock up?

You'd think if they say fully closed we'd assume they might be serious and just planning to close the whole thing?Originally posted by tha_bandit

I don't. The stampede brings a lot of tourists and revenue to the city of Calgary and its businesses.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

I sure hope not, but we cleaned out the basement as a precaution. I would encourage everyone to do the same to be on the safe side.Originally posted by 88CRX

Any one know locations that need food the most? NW locations would be easier for us to access.
My mom and dad run a small catering company and their client cancelled (obviously) for their event tomorrow. Instead of letting the food go to waste, we want to donate it to those in need or those who are helping out. The client isn't paying for the food so we can freely donate to whomever we want. Just don't know where would be the best.
Have enough food to feed 150 people, can be prepared and warmed by roughly 4:00-5:00pm. I think we may be able to package and serve them as well. If you are in the NW and have people who are in need, I can load up my car and bring food to you as well. PM or text me at (403)483-2622
Keep us posted on what you guys end up doing.
Anyone else notice a significant change in the taste of your tap water?
