That's really up to you...they don't seem to have any early morning photo option (a lot of the bigger shows offer sunrise ramp access for photos...for a price) by 9:00 the llight is already not going to be great from a photo standpoint, but it is occasionally nice to get out there when there's not as many people out there getting in the way...I haven't looked at the static display list though, so I don't know if there's going to be anything exciting there.

There'll be some pre show flying, but usually it's the acrobatic performers warming up, or sometimes it's just GA stuff flying in circles...the 12:30 start time would be when the first real performance starts.

Thanks again for the film I cant wait to get a roll of the Portra done. I did find the Kodak Ultramax 400 better than the Fuji Superia 200

Looking good. How's the AF on the G1?

Haha, 28mm?!! Are you pushing the ~1m minimum focus distance regularly seen on rangefinders?

The af is really good actually and the G2 is better I hear, but I have zero complaints about the G1. The the 28 and 45 are .5m minimumI think, but thats with in striking distance

Don't normally shoot film but these 2 are fuji xtra 800. Very nice color film for night stuff imo.

How did you like the Sun and Salsa? Didn't make it out this year, but maybe next time.

Thanks Steve for those pointers! I'll try harder next year for the full disc. I think I'd like more than a 2.0X teleconverter to try and fill my frame with these planes haha. Here's a few from the Lethbridge Airshow.
