Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. I do pay refferals in the event that anyone knows someone looking for BMW at either of our locations and they do the deal through me .
Rich, Trades are always tricky. Before I even put gas and do a clean on your trade I need to certify it and that costs us around $5000 on an X5. That's before any reconditioning (tires, brakes, etc). The $100K + cars are always the heaviest to depreciate but be thankful it's not a cadillac or some sort of Infinitti, it would be worth substantially less.
With that being said 50K for your truck, assuming it's never been in any accidents and the mileage is reasonable is a tad low. There are also some special programs on the X5M. You're more than welcome to contact me if you're ever interested in one and we can go from there.
Thanks again for the praise guys
GIve me 75k for it and I'll get the new X5M off you in blue
Rich, maybe the quote you got wasn't "all-in"????

After buying a near $100K car brand new once I am never gonna do it again. Oh man that depreciation hurts so bad. Wait a couple years, 20K or so mileage, and save like $30-$40K. Think of all you can do with that hahaOriginally posted by InRich

Seriously?! If you can sell it private for over $60K I'd fall off my chair. Even that much would be a HUGE sucker.

Not always and not with all cars. Lux cars yes it's hard to get rid of them.Originally posted by heavyfuel
Not the dealership's fault, just the industry as a whole. Buy new=lose. Period. I was offered 9k for one of my trucks in trade, saw an identical one, same year, same shape, same km range, selling for 22k at a dealership. It is pathetic, big time but any one dealership isn't to blame.
I've lost tons of money on lots of cars too but there have been 3 brand new cars I've driven for 3-6 months and got rid of them while losing less than $1500 each time.

I will post a more comprehensive review later, once I pick up the car - But let me say this for now:
Ryan Dandurand
is
the
best
Ryan has been helpful, professional and VERY EASY to work with. Guy had a great deal for me in minutes - He also went above and beyond and helped ensure I have wheels for a few days in between getting rid of my old car and picking up the Bimmmmmmmmmmmmmmer.
Guy is a hero.
Full review to come once I have the car in my hands, but so far Ryan has been better than any car salesman I have ever dealt with, from Benz to Hyundai (and I've owned a lot of cars!) - So far he's the only guy in town I'd recommend for BMW sales.
I thought I'd bump this thread for my purchase experience:
Ryan was great! He was able to get a better deal negotiated than I had expected, and had all the paperwork ready to go. The visit to the dealership to buy the car was quick and painless.
Now, this was the Friday before a July weekend, and when I got the car home I noticed that the car was less than perfectly detailed, which disappointed me a bit, coming from a luxury dealership... So I emailed Ryan to express my slight disappointment ...
Now I usually judge people not by their mistakes, but how they react and respond to those mistakes - So far Ryan has been great . My car is back in BMW's care as we speak getting a full detail, power polish and seal - Thanks to Ryan.
This is the type of service you recommend to people - A great sales experience, a good price, and the man who took responsibility for a small issue that wasn't his fault and turned it into a yet another positive aspect of the experience for me.
Ryan is now my go-to BMW salesman for all my family and friends. He's that good.
So how great was this "great deal"?
