    add changing a flat to that list. I stopped to help someone who shredded their tire by driving on it flat. They didn't even know they had a spare in the back.

    haha, not really. Have to read between the lines to make sense of it.

    I am assuming he meant he didn't have room to change his oil. But how could that be the case? What would impede him from opening the hood and going under the car?

    Now if he said he was too lazy or ignorant to change his oil I would have understood.
