6 and under ride free tandem eh? Might just have to take the munchkin nephew there.
That looks like a great time, wonder what the top speed is?
This ones in Mont Tremblant, but same thing basically. Looks like a blast!

If i read the pricing right it's $3 extra for the kid, and they have to be taller than 85 cm to get on the chair lift and less than 110 cm to be free.Originally posted by jwslam

Either way it seems like a pretty good deal, I'm sure my boy would enjoy that as well.
Tried it in Queenstown, NZ. Will have to give it a go here and see how it compares.
Had a blast at the one at Mont Tremblant. This one doesn't look nearly as steep or fast, but could just be the camera angle.
Damn, that looks boring now...

I do get great service there, especially when I mention my name, haha.
I really hope its not like this. The video makes this seem so slow and uneventful.Originally posted by tenth

The Mont Tremblant one looks awesome, the Calgary one not so much... but I will probably end up going to try it anyways
I'm going August 14th as they are a client at my work. Should be sweet. I hope they go fast!! haha
looks like the only difference between the 2 videos is the first one had some racing in it. the calgary one seemed like he was riding by himself or his friends didn't keep up.

Yea I was at COP yesterday and it looked like this with the Luge pretty much guided all the way down on the two sides. Saw a few kids (7/8 y/o) on them. Didn't seem fast at all but i was also at the bottom of the hill right before the get-off point.Originally posted by tenth

If anybody is looking to try this out I saw that the astral radio deals web site (Cjay/Vibe) is selling 2 for 1 tickets.
I went with Streethondas. Pretty boring IMO. Would not recommend to anybody.
It was awesome! The rear wheel kept lifting off, it was like driving a reliant robin! Pretty fast would highly recommend it.
Took kids their last week (pre-teens) and they both loved it. It's fun; you don't go really fast (IMO) but fast enough to enjoy it - it's not a racetrack or like go-karting but that's not what it's supposed to be either.
Kids enjoyed it, I enjoyed it and that's good enough for us .
I would recommend to anyone with pre-teens.
