Some guy is selling a cell phone plan for multiple carriers on Kijiji and you're asking if it's a scam?

    Seems reasonable.

My Rogers account has unlimited Canada-wide calling, 6GB data, VM, CD etc for $50/month.

It's not far fetched at all.

That's essentially my plan for $50 after tax.

So, they can offer service for $45 unadvertised, charges $60 advertised but will charge $90 just to give a big middle finger to CRTC which has been protecting them for decades.

It shows the big 3 need to be brought down.

I ninja edited, haha. The flag for me is that he's offering it for Telus and Bell. If it were just one carrier it would make more sense.

It's for Virgin Mobile. But I assume you have to have a locked Telus/Bell phone or unlocked phone for these 2 network in order to port.

    lol, good old Kijiji.

Sounds like someone got access to private plans and want to make a few bucks on the side.

    I knew there's gotta be a catch.

Not a bad plan. My contract is up next month, and I'm looking to get a new plan. Although I don't really want to get rid of my unlimited data, but I would for a 6gb plan.

Anyone know if you can get a plan similar to that with the 6gb data for about that price? Right now I pay $50 a month including unlimited data, 300 mins daytime, unlimited text, cd, vm, etc, $0.08/min LD tax in. But what annoys me...although very rarely, is it doesn't include mms and it would be nice to have unlimited incoming or fab 5 of some sort.

    EDIT:

So I did some looking around and it seems you need to be a Thunder Bay resident to do this. Or change your address to TB and then back after. You can port your number, or change your plan if you are existing customer. Just need to prove your a TB resident, or use a Kijiji dude.

Redflagdeals Thread on it It's been on/off for a few years..

I'm going to try and get this plan tomorrow morning, i'll update with what happens.

Rogers offered the 6GB plan when iPhones first came to Canada. A couple other times too.

Honestly your better off using the big 3's smaller carriers. Rogers/Fido, Telus/Kodoo, Bell/Virgin. The smaller ones seem to carry better plans and more data..

Jesus I wish I had that plan. Unlimited texting too I'm assuming? If so, my plan is similar however the Fav10 replaces the unlimited Canada-wide calling (amazing) and I pay $65/month. This is on Telus.

I was too but they won't do anything. Neither will Fido as a new customer.

I now swear to stay away from the big 3 til I absolutely have to.
