We will probably never see the selection of wagons offered in Europe or even Asia. People here love their trucks and SUVs too much.
I think they are a bit tougher sell here because they are a bit of a compromise of both worlds in Canada. They don't have the utility of a truck and they don't have the fuel economy/small size benefit of a sedan.

Canada is also a relatively small market and 17% of that small market lives in rural areas so they're probably more likely to buy a truck than a wagon.

I own two wagons but will be getting rid of one for a truck as the wagons just can't go places a truck can go. Subarus are pretty good for ground clearance but I'm guessing this conversation isn't about Subaru like wagons. Also a wagon won't tow much.

I guess if you're a city person that doesn't really spend much time in the outdoors a wagon is fine and will get you anywhere you want to go.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

There's an hour left on this S62-swapped 540i wagon on BaT. Get bidding beyond.

i think wagons are making a bit of a comeback.

I see a ton of audi allroads and also now mk7 wagons and alltraks around in the city. Plus with the Panamera Sport Turismo coming i hope that pushes bmw/audi/mercedes to offer theirs in north america.

Golf R wagon would be pretty sweet. Although the last gen looks weird. It's like a lowered small minivan.

I wouldn't say there are tons of Allroads out there. The US only sold 2300 units all of last year. Even if Canada sold have as much, there's still not that many on the roads here. There won't be an Avant here unless the RS6 comes here in 4-5 years. The new E63S wagon is special order only and the new 5 series wagon won't make it over here. Wagons just don't sell here and that's a real fucking shame.

However, I'm adding to the number of them on the road(have a 2018 Allroad on order, "fully loaded").
