So I've decided to sell my trusty steed. I need the money to fund my new Land Rover project, otherwise this car would've stayed with us; need to make room.
My family is the original owner of this car and we've had it since. It's been dependable, reliable, and it runs great. It has ~165,000 km's and that's mostly from cross-country road trips to California, Washington state, Oregon, etc.
Uses Mobil1 Synthetic and had the water pump/timing belt changed at 100k km.
The trusty 4-cylinder is good on gas and the AWD keeps you planted in winter. It's also the same engine as the 2004 Lancer so if you want twin-turbo or a CAI, you can!
The crossover platform has room to move a loaded goalie bag without folding the seats down and the 60/40 rear seats fold flat for more room.
It's fully loaded with the upgraded stereo, sunroof, heated leather seats, and comes with winter tires on stock rims. The heated seats alone is worth its' weight in gold. Your toasty tuchus will thank you.
The caveat is that it has hail damaged hood and we didn't opt to get it fixed. Took the payout instead so you can't make another claim until you get it fixed (buy a hood from the Pick A Part and you're gold but you don't really need to because it's only a few spots as a tree saved it from total damage).
Heater blasts hot, A/C runs cold, and the stereo can crank as much Miley Cyrus as you want. Can't guarantee your safety when doing that, but you can.
If you just need a reliable, comfortable winter beater while you park your C4S at home, then this is for you!
