I'm looking to purchase those black formal suits you see hutterites wear, the ones with the puffy shoulders, im also interested in the "pioneer" styled hat.
Google hasnt yielded any results, any ideas?

It's been years since I have lived in Lethbridge but I could have sworn the Hutterites in the area shopped at Progress Clothing. Worth a shot.

Fixed. They're always looking for new DNA. Just don't mind all the elders watching while you "donate" to make sure no one is enjoying themselves.Originally posted by ZenOps

Hahaha swear to god its impossible to get these suits anywhere, I'll probably have to get them from the source, and I dont intend on leaving anything behind.
The suit is for a buddies wedding party
Hahahaha, I'll find out for you when I get back to the farm. Hutterites and Mennonites all have the same apparel, locked into the late 1800's.

Go to the farmers market or colony and ask them..made to measure.

The problem is you are looking for "Hutterite" which are relatively rare in most places.
You need to look for Amish or specifically Mennonite outfits. Virtually identical clothing and it is readily available in the US. Amish can be difficult to find as they don't use electricity so no computers, Mennonites on the other hand are free to wild with kilowatts

Hang around the Airdrie WalMart for a few minutes and you'll probably run into a colony of them. I don't think you can buy suits like that from any local store but they might custom make one for you.
Probably the only place you're going to find one, short of joining a colony, is a costume shop.

lmao, thanks for all the suggestions folks, I knew it would be difficult to find one of these but I won't give up yet.
They're always looking to make money, so if you were able to ask a random group of them I'm sure they'd oblige.
Tell them you're starting a new colony and need a suit asap?
Don't know much about Hutterites, eh.Originally posted by Hallowed_point

Will fuck off, again.
If you swapped out "Hutterite" for any other demographic (Blacks, Jews etc.) this thread would get blown up for racism.
Don't be a douche bag and approach people like a circus attraction asking to buy their funny clothes off of them. There are plenty of places you can get them online or the place that Kristafo posted.
