Default Anniversary gift for me! Hamilton Watch?

Wifey wants to buy me a watch for our anniversary. I capped our budget at ~$1,000 for each of us. Figured in that price range I would be looking at Hamilton type watches. I am a fan of Swatch, so I know Hamilton will have the quality behind it. I want a dressy watch that will stay classy for years. Included below are the designs I like from Hamilton. Anyone have suggestions about other brands in this range.

Note: I will be buying it from my watch dealer in Miami so it has to been a new piece from mainstream brands. With my discounts I could hit ~$1,500 msrp.

    Thanks!

I'm a big fan of the second one. Something about the rose cold and the textured face that says classic and timeless

Same. That's what I wear very regularly. That exact watch.

With discounts you'll be around $1,200 or so, doubt you'll get it sub-$1,000.

    Watches in that range:

Tissot Couturier Chronograph (see my review: http://www.watchesyoucanafford.com/t...omatic-review/)

    Lower-end Grand Seiko

Lower-end Raymond Weil (probably a Freelancer)

    Lower-end Longines

    Hamilton Jazzmaster Chrono

    Tissot PRC200 Chrono (new model)

Note: lower-end doesn't mean "low-end", it just means that it isn't the cream of the crop for that brand.

Ill grab a quote on the 2nd one and a couple more from A790's list from my guy.

I absolutely love the 1st one with the blue face. Any other classy blue faced recommendations?

Edit: Justing - Just noticed that you are a forum sponsor. Would you mind running me quotes on both the watches. I will be in Calgary at the end of the month.

    Thanks!

Justin, would like a Beyond quote on the Maestro in 45MM. Also, let me know if you have it in stock.

What about Lum Tec? Is it a decent watch, or does it just have a uniqueness factor?

Theses are the ones I was looking at:

Your interpretation of "clean" may vary from mine, but I'd get a Certina DS Action Diver...
