    Default My Anti Salesmen Spiders

I have a couple huge jewel spiders in the corner by my front door. One is roughly the size of a quarter, and the other almost a toonie. The funny thing is we haven't had a salesmen since they made themselves known.

I'm not sure on the lifespan of these guys in Canada, but we had a couple large ones in the same spot last summer, but no where near the size of these ones, so I'm wondering if they can make it through our winters and just keep getting bigger????

They're a little creepy right by the front door, but I figure they're keeping the house pest free (bug and people) so I'm just going to see how big they can get.

They're totally harmless so I'm not too worried about them. My wife has even named the bigger one Tara (tarantula)!

^ Yeah, I'd use a propane powered torch, either that or a rubber mallet and give it a quick impromptu meeting with an adjacent wall.

    Fuck I hate spiders...

I trained the dog to hunt and eat spiders.

It was my wife's idea, and I went along with it because of the wonderful disgusted faces the dog makes when she eats them. Get's me every time.

Spiders and dragonflies eat other bugs that are way more annoying and harmful. I always leave spiders alone. Wish I knew how to genetically modify a spider to make it big enough to eat door to door salespeople tho

That's exactly what I did. I had a spider living inside the side view mirror mount of my Jeep, which has an open bottom. I just burned the sucker outta there. (And yes, I was careful not to damage the vehicle)

Growing up in Manila we looked for spiders and get them to fight.
