    Default how to install a turbo

    can anyone tell me the instroction to install a turbo what do i need and where can i get it from because i want to custom make my own from junkyard thanks

    Read corky bell's book "maximum boost" Its all about turbos, new i think its 40 bucks, i can sell it to you for 20...

    you should also check out www.homemadeturbo.com if your going to go the junkyard route. they have done lots of cars like this

    go there and read, you will learn so much, might take you 6 months before you could even attempt it but at the end you will know more than you ever thought you could.

    Maximum boost doesn't teach you everything, but it does help with the basics of turbo understanding, and it clears up a lot of misconceptions, such as doubling torque vs additional forces on the internals . I have a copy of it myself hehe.
