Looks like Sunshine set the opening day for next Friday the 15th. I will be there.
I'm not sure what you're getting at..... Your question/statement kinda answers itself.....Originally posted by heavyfuel

I just remember you saying you wanted to hit 50+ days (I think that was you?) , nice to know you're not one of those people who think 40 minutes of bar time every 3 runs or getting there at 1 pm, counts as a day lol I think there should be a 6 hour minimum for full day bragging rights lolOriginally posted by Ek9Max

But I wasn't really counting my days for bragging right. I was more just keeping a tally to make sure I have this Rocky Mountain passport paid for vs lift tickets.
Once the hills are fully open though, I'm there from first chair to last chair everyday.
Rocky ,mountain pass is $1500 on early bird? So only have to go 17 times to pay for itself.

Rocky Mountain pass was $1769+gst early bird. I was going on the average lift ticket being around $60 ish. Cause I usually get them from costco.
My bad forgot Costco sold tickets, and I got confused with student rate.
Bought new boots and they are to small, ski cellar doesn't recommend punching them as I said the pain was about a 4/5, so they recommend me return them at a cut and get new ones.... Ugh
Boot are last season full tilt drop kicks

^where did you buy them? I went through the same thing after a lengthy "fit" at Ski West. The boots ended up being too big which caused some unwelcome movement after the liner broke in. Had a professional fit done in Whistler which was a much better experience.
I find the shops in Calgary to be clueless when it comes to boots (save for Lou's).
Fresh is good for boot fitting as well, what size boots you get civictunr?

Lou's in town is good for boot fitting.
Dave Williams at Soul in Banff is also very good.
Top shelf in Fernie has also helped me out with overnight service.
There are a few WC boot techs floating around but you probably won't run into them.
The guys I have met at Fresh, while young, do seem to be better than at other places.
Also, check out this:

I bought them from ski cellar. Where would you guys recommend going? Making the customer take a hit after having them size me up and everything is annoying, so ill take my business else where.
Sick move on the passport I looked into it but really don't think I would get in enough days outside of Louise to warrant the extra cost over my just Louise passOriginally posted by Ek9Max

But after spending so much time trying to figure out if it was worth it or not..... I decided to just get the passport and not worry about it anymore.
I'm thinking that i'll be going to nakiska a lot before work.

Did you measure your foot weighted and unweighted to determine your mondo point size?
Did you do a proper shell check?
If you just need work done and Ski Cellar won't do it for free, go to Lou's. He may tell you that you are in the wrong boot but if you only need more length it shouldn't be too difficult to stretch them for length. Most normal boots (PU/PE with no bi-injection seams) can be stretched for length by a half size. Other boots may be less depending on the construction (Pebax, grilamid, bi-injected shells are harder to do).
I have had Ski Cellar pass off, in my opinion (and the opinion of two of the qualified fitters that looked at the work) horrible work as "boot fitting" because they didn't want to spend the time to fix the real problem (I needed the ankles punched over 1-cm to get enough room, all they wanted to do was add padding around my ankle...why add padding when there is already a severe lack of room is beyond me).
I know I really sound like I hate Ski Cellar but I don't, I just think they don't always have what I would call acceptable after sales care and occasionally sales people that are not as knowledgeable as they should be in order to cater to the full spectrum of skiers. Mind you, I have only bought equipment at the McLeod Trail store but I have had bad repairs done on 17th as well.
Edit: I missed the part about them being last season's Drop Kicks. That explains a lot. I have had the owner at Ski Cellar tell me to my face if I had paid full price he would help me but because I chose a discounted boot he wouldn't. Ironically this was a Raichle (precursor to Full Tilt).
