Finally after 43 days off I will be able to ski this Sunday, can't wait! Then the weekend after 2 days in Revy with my friends, so excited.

Kicking horse is tempting.... How is that for a day trip? I haven't been there before
It really isn't that bad, I do it from time to time. When they have good snow like what it sounds like now, it's worth the extra miles. There is always a chance of getting stuck on the highway because of accidents/avalanche road closure though.Originally posted by nonofyobiz

Hopefully whitefish gets some more snow... Nothing over night but lightly snowing now. Maybe 4-10 inches by friday night if their predictions are accurate.
Getting there tomorrow so I'll be able to ride first tracks on the big foot T since it doesn't open monday - thursday.
But you can't even turn toe side yet?!Originally posted by flipstah
Might go this weekend but I'm Kimberley bound next week
He'll just have to keep turning like in a roundabout.

I'm going this weekend to figure it out solo one last time and I'm Kimberley bound with people that do know how. More learning time haha!Originally posted by lilmira

I would get someone to teach you this weekend, boarding is much more fun when you can actually turn haha.Originally posted by flipstah

By the sounds of it, you've been out a bunch already, still no dice. With someone teaching me, I was linking turns on my second day boarding.
Find a quieter run with decent width and consistent grade, have at it. It'll click before you know it. Having to avoid people or having people buzzing by you is no fun when learning, this weekend though may be tough.Originally posted by flipstah

Not too bad actually. I have done west side of calgary to kho in just over 2:30 hrs before. Mid week would make a great day, only problem is on busy weekends (like this long weekend coming up) and any time it snows the gondola line gets massive and really slows down a good ski day. Would be an amazing hill if they added more lifts. Everything worth skiing there is accessed by the gondolaOriginally posted by nonofyobiz

Castle is getting pounded with snow. Looking like a good weekend no matter where you end up. Although I am sure it will be super busy.
LOL I'll see if I can get my Go Pro working for the weekend.Originally posted by mazdavirgin

Weeee, so much snow at KH.
Sunshine was gooood today! It was like a blizzard at the top though, couldn't see much. Snowed all day tho so should be a good weekend.
Revy is getting pounded, I hope this keeps up all the way until the end of next weekend!
Heading down to Fernie for a day trip on the weekend. Pretty excited as I hear many great things about the mountain!
