He just has baby hands!
The N5 since the logo on there is LG would be based upon the G2 which is 5.2" iirc. No back buttons though means wider bezels on the phone though.
Considering they also "accidentally" leaked the Nexus 7 in another one of their promotional videos, I wouldn't be surprised if was intentional to create buzz.
Shouldn't be much of a surprise to see a Nexus 5 as a 5.2" LG G2 with slight mods (glass frot & back, buttons on side instead of the back).
That is what I was hoping for.
The G2 is only 0.5" bigger than a N4, it won't be too bad.
It should be a better looking one of these:

The back does not look like glass, looks matte imo.
Even better, then we don't need rear glass protection like the N4. It might just be a pattern under glass though but I hope you're right.Originally posted by ZEDGE

Looks like the N5 passed through FCC (not sure what other device could be running Key Lime Pie (kitkat)).
- LG makes it (D820)
- 4.96" display (N4 is 4.7")
- Snapdragon 800
- 2300 Mah battery
- 7 band LTE, pentaband HSPA+, Quadband GSM/Edge
- wireless AC
- Bluetooth 4.0
Definitely thought it would be the G2, but it's not looking like it. I'm glad it's a bit smaller.
This not a phablet. According to the FCC specs the overall dimensions is smaller than the Nexus 4.
Lets hope really small bezels then!Originally posted by supe

Wireless AC is nice though.

Concept rendering. Smaller than N4 but bigger screen.
Why is everyone comparing the phone in the video to the FCC filings? The FCC filing shows a size smaller than the N4 but in the video you can see the mystery phone is significantly larger.
I have no doubt the mystery phone in the video is the N5 but comparing it to the FCC fillings is just stupid. Seems like a huge miss by all the tech blogs that are reporting the correlation.

That could be due to perspective and or tiny hands for one.Originally posted by spike98

FCC one would be the real deal.
Lol common. The dude is standing right beside the chick. The guys hands have to be the size of verne troyer's to give that skewed perspective.Originally posted by schocker

I think if it wasn't perspective, his head is twice the size of hers.Originally posted by spike98

She's clearly behind him, compare the top of his shirt to hers and the bottom of his shirt to hers.
Ill just leave this right here...

Why would the CDMA version of the G2 be running Key Lime Pie and have a 4.97" screen instead of 5.2"? Seems a bit strange. I still bet the device that passed through the FCC the N5. Timing is perfect too.Originally posted by spike98

Oh it does seem strange. I don't think the FCC filing is for a CDMA G2 either but i don't think its the N5.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

Nooooooooo, I want that phone, for around a reasonable price of $360
Well a G2 review is out, it's an absolute beast:
http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/09/lg-g2-review/
Double and in some cases triple the benchmarks of the Optimus G (N4).
Also class-leading battery life, even with a smallish battery. Optical image stabilization on the camera too. 16 hours video playback, 20+ hours extremely heavy usage.
Let's hope all this makes it into the N5 as expected.
I still think the FCC phone is the N5, nothing else I can think of would be running Key Lime Pie.
