Absolutely. In all countries all militaries allow turbans to be worn. I previously mentioned that Sikhs have been fighting in British armies for over 100+ years wearing the turban.

I wouldn't want my kids (if I had kids) to be brought up in a classroom with the Virgin Mary as a teacher.

Theres some messed up philosophy in there too.

I want my kids to be Jedi, with minor Autobot. But then I'd assume people would want to ban green aliens as teachers too.

I don't think it should be any surprise that many MP's MLA's etc, lean to racism or anti-religious (depending on what local religion unpopular or minority) to gain popular vote.

I do worry that many in slightly elevated positions of power are bad mouthing individuals and fabricating lies, or targetting specific members of the community (the black guy) with slander. Just look at how they all got into a feeding frenzy on Pamela Wallin for simply claiming some airplane tickets out of Canada, and shes white, lol.

They aren't going "Assad" on people, but its no secret that a lot of them are badmouthing the brown kid behind their back, any and every chance they get.

Seriously, Rob Anders - What more need be said.

Can someone please define Canadian culture and values for me please?

I have a hard enough time telling foreigners what a traditional Canadian food is and revert to saying something like steak with poutine.

I wouldn't call poutine a traditional Canadian food in a national sense.

Steak and potatos maybe but not steak and poutine and even then, would steak be considered a traditional Canadian food on the extreme east coast or Nunavut? I believe that Canada is just too large in it's physical mass to have what one could consider a traditional Canadian food across it's breadth.

Doug and Bob Mckenzie's recommended Canadian diet

The steak and poutine was just a joke. I believe we've always been quite diverse and there's no one thing that really makes us Canadian. So to say that someone (or some ethnic group) is taking away our laws, culture, traditions and freedoms that we as Canadians have known and loved...just curious what the heck they're referring to specifically. Last time I checked, Christmas Day is still a national holiday and you have the freedom to say Merry Christmas to whomever the fuck you want - I know I do.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
