Pretty sure these cars, as with most older Ferrari's, require service based on mileage OR time, doesn't matter which, and the intervals are very short. Some of the service requires an engine pull. For example I believe a Murcielago needs an engine pull for a clutch job, not sure about the 348.

The 348 requires a major service every 30,000 miles which requires the engine to be removed. The cost of this service runs around $8k.

That said, it is pretty extensive since all of the belts are replaced as well as the spark plugs, cam seals, valve cover gaskets and fluids. Some also take the time to replace their tensioners and water pumps as they are notoriously weak on the 348s.

The parts for a 348 engine out run around $1200 from Ricambi, not bad. The labor is about 30 hours, again not horrible, considering the time and money many of us put into modifying stupid japanese cars lol.

Gorgeous ride! To be totally honest, I actually like the original wheels better; they bring back so many great memories of my dream car!

No kidding! Great ride though, always been a fan of this one especially in such a classic colour scheme.

Awesome car, and IMO, better looking than the current models.

    2014 Update

    A crazy busy year.

I stored the car in my condo parkade in Edmonton over the winter.

Had a few short drives around Edmonton before bringing it back to Calgary at which time I did the annual fluid service + routine maintenance.

360 wheels were ordered actually prior to finalizing the purchase of the vehicle. They went on, along with the appropriate Ricambi bolts for the rear wheels. Tires are P-zeros, I believe they are 275/40 in the rear, and fronts are 225/40. Wheels are 18x10.5 in the rear with fronts being 18x8.

The car spent most of the summer parked in Calgary, simply no time to even think about driving it. I then returned and did a full exterior detail, along with giving the interior a really really thorough cleaning (god bless the inventors of 303 Aerospace!). The top was also treated with 303 products.

Cannot express how much I love driving this thing, puts a smile on my face every time I start it up.

She's currently stored in Calgary......getting married next August and I know what I'll be driving to my wedding

    Let the pic whoring ensue:

    Start of the 2014 Season

    In Edmonton

    Coming back to the 403.....
Drove her back in June 2014. The work began the morning after I arrived.

The next morning after a wash

Later in the season......full exterior detail

I cannot believe this actually happened, really wanted him to pull up next to me...

Mandatory Agrium pics....have done pics of every car at this location

Found this location just by chance....

    Hellaflush:

Did the interior on a weekend, shampooed all carpets, seats conditioned, every single thing I can imagine has been 303'd

Wish everyone a safe, and happy holiday season. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2015.
