^I love Chris Harris and I love my Miata but f**k that review, he's just wrong.
This review is much better.
Also, search his video of the C63 on 4 donuts, hilarious.

I also have to disagree. I understand where you are coming from. He might not have a Masters degree in mechanical engineering and understand all the intricacies of how fuel explodes in a chamber. But you don't need to as a journalist.Originally posted by HiTempguy1
So lets just be clear, a guy who OBJECTIVELY knows sweet-fuck-all about a cars actual performance or (realistically) how they work, somehow his opinion matters on how a car actually drives in a sporting sense?
I know that this might be hard to imagine, but there are plenty of magazines/tv shows that do still test higher end cars/exotics but aren't dedicated to them, with people who actually know what they are talking about.
My point being, he has no substance. He just says words and drifts cars around. Hardly a reason to care for his opinion. Maybe to be entertained, I can agree with that.
Cars, bottom line, are about the experience. Especially in higher end cars. The details about turn in, grip, etc are all important. But for people where these cars are not accessible, knowing what it is like to be in the car and drive it, how it makes you feel, that is fundamentally the most important part. A journalists job is to describe this experience. I feel Chris Harris does this well.

I enjoy some of his stuff, but I find myself fast forwarding a lot of it out of boredom. He either spends too much time being introspective, or he takes forever to get to the parts of the car I want to hear about. He is a 6/10 reviewer to me

I enjoy his videos. I'd probably prefer more time spent on technical and mechanical breakdowns and less on sliding the car around like a hooligan, but if he wants views he has to find a balance in his videos.

That's what I love about the guy. Super chill attire, walking around at all these super high end car conventions where everyone is dressed up in suits and all that stupid shit lol.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
