IMHO Asians and condo (self managed? Or Asian unit owners voting on maintenance issues) don't really mix well. Pacific mall IMO kinda turned into a dump, still cool to grab bbt and buy squash car freshener tho.

Parking is gonna be a nightmareeeeeeeee. Calgarians already don't like shopping with Asians @ superstore, you think adding an Asian specific parking lot would help. Double parking? Fuck no, I'm from china, I triple park bitches.

Imagine Christmas shopping @ Chinook; except its like that every weekend.

Problem here is that people are going to start screaming for Calgary Transit to provide service out there which I think is BS - if Rocky View County is going to allow these developments on Calgary's doorstep, then they should be on the hook for any needed transit options as well.

There is no dig. Did you read the article? It's Nenshi making the comments that we need more control over the Calgary Metropolitan Area, and that there's a lack of transit there.

“But this really does highlight the need for the province to legislate the Calgary Metropolitan Plan,” Nenshi told reporters Friday.

“We have to have thoughtful, regional planning, including the city and all of our neighbours around us, to avoid problems like we have at CrossIron Mills where you’ve got a mall where a lot of teenagers work and you’ve got no public transit.

I left Calgary and moved to Rocky View County to get away from the likes of you Nenshi. I want no part of your Agenda 21 Calgary Metropolitan Plan - so leave us alone - you have screwed Calgary up enough for both RVC and Calgary.

But maybe if he just added a new tax, or stole some more money, or, wait, wait, how about bicycle lanes?

Nenshi's real problem with this is that he can't tax businesses that are outside of the city limits. Next, he'll be pushing to annex Okotoks, Airdrie and Cochrane so he can tax the folks that moved out of the city to get away from the high taxes.

Can I please move in with you? If this giant mistake gets re-elected I'm getting the eff out of here in a hot second.
