    Default Audi MMI Cable search

Just searching for something similar to the below and hoping to find local if possible

    http://www.amazon.ca/Music-Interface...audi+mmi+cable

I have one for my old 4 in my Audi but now that I'm on the 5S would be great to get a new one. Curious if anyone else has done this and knows of a good/cheap place to pick them up.

    Thanks in advance.

5S is lightning correct? I don't think Audi has updated license to make lightning adapters yet.

Old 30 pin + adapter is the only way to go for 5/5s.

Isn't it all the same with Volkswagens and Porsches?

You can get them locally at the dealership but it won't be cheap.

    I'd go online.

EDIT: Clicked your link. Yes, it is. I have the same one. But they haven't made one for the 5S yet.

Yah I wouldn't buy through Audi. They are a rip off. Same how they will charger you ~$35 for a new battery to the smart key. Or just buy a 3V from walmart for $6 and DIY.

I was hoping they had that exact style but for the lightning. My old 4 one is just sitting in my car useless at the moment

Your only solution is the Official 30pin to lightning adapter.

There are also tons of A2DP options out there as well. The pig tail in glovebox is hard to get to so I didn't even use it when I did have an iPod. I use the 2 SD slots with 32GB each and call it a day.

S4 didn't get bluetooth music until 2013 (maybe 2012... but pretty sure 2013).

Also like how it charges the phone while it is synced up.

    http://www.audia2dp.com

Basically remove the old 30pin Apple rat tail in glove box and replace with this to access the aux input.
