Blackberry is dead, look at the trend charts and extrapolate. BBM will go with it, maybe a few corporations that mistakenly and regrettably adopted Blackberry will hang on to it, as for the regular consumer, DOA. Not to mention the cash burn of the company. All summarized by *yawn*.

Is there stats anywhere that publishes usage on all the different platforms? The thing I don't like about whatsapp is that its tied to a phone number, meaning I can't use it on a tablet nor is there a web app I can message from. I can message through SMS and Hangouts through chrome.

None of my friends have BB anymore. About 2 years ago, every one of them had a BB. Way too late BB.

I no longer know a single individual with a BB. This is about 4 years late.

WhatsApp is better anyway (IMHO). All my friends and I prefer it.
