They're saying in that article that this concept is a small piece to Honda's bigger plan of developing three mid-engined sports cars.

Hell even with the new earth dreams 1.5 Honda is throwing into the fit RS (130-150hp) and 6 speed this thing would be awesome!

I like it but i doubt it will end up a 660cc engine here, most likely an EV drivetrain like the CRZ.

not when they're ditching the hybrid CRZ. The next one will pay proper homage to original CRX.
CRX = gods fwd chariot
CRZ is built on top of the Fit I'm pretty sure. But somehow they made it less fun than a Fit.
Another thing is its funny the Fit gets the same gas mileage as the hybrid CRZ.
