Mark Seto and RepMedia killed the forum several years ago with heavy moderation and they forum never recovered.
RIP 780Tuners. I'll always remember the several days I spent trying to convince the moderators their forum had malware in it.
as someone who has lived in both cities for long enough to have a say.. Edmonton's system is much easier to use and find things. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Do you mean "helping then realize" or trying to sucker them into believing it had malware? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Downtown: Calgary? 1st and 1st... Edmonton? I don’t even know off the top of my head... 180th?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
“But Edmonton is numbers everywhere” oh yeah? The road you come in on is named, and it changes names, the major business districts are on whyte and jasper...
There is nothing good about Edmonton
100st, 100ave.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Whyte is 82nd ave and Jasper is 100 ave. Gateway is 105th st and Calgary trail is 104th. Gateway goes from south edmonton all the way to just past whyte ave where it ends. I don't know where you think "it changes names."This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

What does it matter what the numbers are downtown? If you have an address you need to get to, you look up at the street sign and instantly know the exact direction you need to travel. Yes Edmonton has a few nicknamed streets that are main travel routes, but for the most part it's a hell of a lot better than needing a map for every single place in the city outside of downtown like Calgary. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Calgary is not immune to this, 85th Street NW becomes Bowness Road which becomes 3rd Avenue NW which becomes Parkdale Boulevard which becomes Memorial Drive. Or 8th Avenue SE into Penbrooke Drive into Madigan Drive into Marbank Drive into 12 Avenue NE..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Will fuck off, again.
That forum was supposed to be shut down yesterday but it's still up.
Looking a bit weird as people make what they think are final posts. Worth checking out on Monday while at work in a cube farm.
Rage2 and Kenny should buy it for 5$ roll it in as thelesserbeyond.ca and profit from increased traffic (or not) lol
Don't one of them admin there? Or did at some point?
Long time ago I was an admin there as we hosted the site for them.

What's the difference between an Admin and a Mod? I assume Admin's are poking around in the code and sort of IT stuff while a Mod typically isn't?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Some forums have them do both, but essentially Admin = Administrator. They make sure the site is up, running, and people can access/use it. Mod = Moderator. They Moderate the actual content of the site, such as posts, blogs, etc. So bans, user interactions and such all come from mods, while admins just work in the background making sure everything is running. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Yeah I wouldn't recommend touring the site from a cube farm or any work computer. I just checked it out and clicked two threads full of NSFW dick pics etcThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
